(Scroll down for English version) SWEDISH Varmt välkomna till årets Indiska kulturfestival anordnad av Indiska föreningen i Luleå, på Friluftsmuseet Hägnan! En spännande och färgsprakande dag där indiska traditioner möter gamla svenska traditioner. Ta del av musik och dansframträdanden, testa klassiska indiska klädesplagg, yoga, skaffa en hennatautering, få en ansiktsmålning, köp mat i något av stånden med klassisk indisk mat och snacks, och stanna till vid caféet för en kopp kaffe. För er som gillar att leka finns även möjlighet att flyga drake och att testa på gamla svenska utomhuslekar. Du kan också besöka museibyggnaderna och lära dig mer om livet i det gamla bondesamhället i norra Sverige. ENGLISH Welcome to this year’s Indian Cultural Festival arranged by the Indian association in Luleå, at the open-air museum Hägnan! An exciting and colourful day where Indian traditions meet old Swedish traditions. Enjoy music and dance performances, try traditional Indian attire, yoga, face painting, get a henna tattoo, purchase Indian food and snacks from one of the food stands, and stop for a coffee at the café. For those of you who like to play, you can also try kite flying and traditional Swedish outdoor games. You can also visit the museum farmsteads and learn more about life in the old farming community in the North of Sweden.

This community event is open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or previous yoga experience. A professional yoga instructor will guide participants through a yoga session suitable for all levels, focusing on gentle movement, breathing, relaxation, and wellbeing. After the yoga session, participants are welcome to stay for a small herbal tea fika, offering an opportunity to connect with others and enjoy a relaxed community gathering.
